The Good Smut Event and Blog Hop

We all know I like my events and this will be my third!

On the 7th May - 27th of May, we will be hosting the Good Smut Event and Blog Hop. There will be posts, excerpts and giveaways galore all celebrating that we read smutty books here at Scorching Book Reviews and are darned proud of it!

Day One - Blog Hop (7th May - 27th May)

 If you are a blogger, we'd love for you to get involved. What we are asking is that you put up a post on the 7th of May and add it to the linky tool at the bottom. This post could be about why you read romance, what are your favourite type of Hero/Heroine etc. 

We'd love for you to do a giveaway of a smutty book of your choice too and keep the givewaway active until the 27th. These events always get a lot of traffic and we will do our darndest to send some your way. Please link back to this site so readers can click through the links of everyone else participating.  The linky can be found on the dedicated site here

Week One - Author Posts (7th May - 14th May)  

In week one, we are asking for authors to tell us something about the type of book they write. This could be why they write smut, what makes a good sex scene, what makes a good hero, why they love Cowboys (sorry, had to get it in there...). It could even be a post on a particular type of kink (BDSM, Shibari, Ménage etc) ...whatever takes your fancy :) Prizes and Giveaways are always appreciated too :)

Week Two/Three - The Good Smut Awards (15th May - 27th May)

OK, what we are asking is for authors to post what they consider the sexiest scene they have ever written. It could be from your first book, it could be from your last book but the important thing is to stand by it!  Make it as long or short as you need it to be. We will post the cover and blurb to go with that book, but we will be asking readers to give it a score out of 10. 

At the end of the event, we will average the scores out and post the first, second and third place winners of the Good Smut Awards. Please, please, please don't worry too much about your placing on this...it was good publicity for all authors involved last time and quite a few reported a boost in sales. Again Prizes and Giveaways are appreciated too :)
