Sabrina isn’t normally a person who gets into trouble, but
she manages to get both herself and her room-mate in a whole heap of it when
she trespasses whilst hunting for ghosts. Caught red-handed by the delectable
Jude, the attraction between them presents an opportunity that none of them
want to pass up.
Jude is renting a house whilst waiting to start medical
school and settle down to a decidedly non-kinky, respectable life-style. What
better way to say goodbye to his old life with a last hoorah Dominating a pair
of hot, willing subs? Convincing the two of them takes little effort but will
playing out every mans fantasy really allow him to close the door on his
natural sexual desires?
Q has a not so secret crush on Sabrina and has for a while.
Jude’s proposal gives her a chance to slate some of that lust for a little
while whilst exercising her switch tendency. Sabrina is a different story all
together. A good catholic girl, she lives in fear of disappointing her parents
and so has tried to suppress both her kinky and bisexual sides. This arrangement that Jude has suggested has
an end date and so feel s less wrong.
But with so many secret desires being allowed out to play, will they
really all just fit back into the box when their time is up?
Cari Silverwood is one of my favourite writers. This one is a little lighter than her other works (possibly as
it is co-authored) but I still devoured it in one sitting. I loved all of the
separate characters but I adored Jude for allowing these two women to finally
allow themselves to express their feelings for each other. Yes there is FF
contact in this book, in fact there is a lot of it, but the emotions that are
apparent in every word, make these scenes incredibly hot. It is clear that they
are all exactly where they want to be.
Q is probably the character that I liked the most in this.
Both Sabrina and Jude had a definite end point for the relationship in their
head but she was truly dreading it. Just out of an abusive relationship, Q is a
Switch who has to be Dominated roughly. She has to be chased down, has to be
pinned and had to be beaten; Jude stepped up to the plate in this book. The
other side of her wants to Dominate Sabrina. For a while, I hated Sabrina. She
knew about Q’s feelings and really did little to discourage them. It was
selfish behaviour towards someone that she counted on as her best friend and it
truly pissed me off. It never deterred Q
though, and she saw her opportunity with Jude and grabbed onto it with both
desperate fists. It was she who instigated the IM chats, she who instigated all
of the meetings and she who was the driving force of the direction that it
took. She had so many emotions riding on this relationship, I knew that she was
going to take their end badly. It was like watching a disaster unfurl on the
pages in front of me. On a side note her ex is a douche. Like a horrible
character to read about....I really wanted someone to kick his ass.
Jude doesn’t want to give up being a Dom but he feels that
he should to be a Doctor. Someone needs to sit that man down and tell him how
kinky Doctors can be. When he meets the two girls, he feels all his Christmas’s
have come at one (a FFM ménage with whips, handcuffs and fetish wear? It’s like
it was written by a man!!). He is so considerate to both of their needs, so
conscious of pleasing them both that he is truly awesome to read about. He didn’t
balk at the lengths he would have to go to Dominate Q but also was a conduit
for the girls to be with each other like they really wanted. He was just
*swwoooon*. I laughed out loud at the scene where they are all at the club and
someone wants to take a picture of Jude proclaiming him his hero; men are crazy
creatures! Sabrina was the character I had the most problems with. I understood
her reasoning, but it made her selfish.
The only time I truly liked her was towards the end of the book. She
kept it together in the face of pure craziness from everyone else...she grew
stronger and it made me a happy bunny.
The sex scenes in this book are of the standard that I
expect From Cari. They are emotive, tense and panty-drenchingly hot ... I
fricking loved them. I’ve read enough
GLBT erotic fiction to know that the FF scenes were not going to bother me and
they were some of the hottest in the book; the forbidden love that exists
between these two is so beautiful to read about.
This book is fun, captivating and hot, hot, hot! With a Dom
strong to take on two subs and a pair of subs who love to sass their Master, it’s
exactly the kind of read I was looking for. Well done Cari, Leia and Sorcha....you’ve
wrote a blinder J

Q was my favorite character too! She's tough but vulnerable. I agree about Sabrina but it made the story that much more interesting.
Oh, I so agree!! I loved her by the end but by god she was a brat at the beginning!!
I can't wait to see what they come up with in the next book! You know it's going to be good!!!
